you'll have a blast at BM, the desert of Northern Nevada is real similar to the ground between Uvda and Eilat. It is going to be dry, hot, and dusty. Temps in the day can exceed 110F (43C) and drop to the mid 40's (0+C)at night.
The terrain is pretty mundane in northern nevada, with sage, cheat grass, and pinion juniper being the dominant flora. The biggest exception is the playa - which is a dry lake bed and sticks out in stark contrast.
Bring a friend, and dont forget to see San Fransisco, Lake Tahoe, and some of the forests in Northern California. When we bring personnel over from Israel, they are amazed and awestruck at the size of a Sequoia tree.
