They don't make any sign vinyl in the right color shade.. So I want to put colored craft paper on a door skin..The wood has some texture to it..The back of the is pretty slick..I can trim the edges so the wind wont get under it..But have to work with to many bubble using paste/or type glue.. Looks like 3M has what I want..Thanks guys, Save me gas, not having to run around looking
To reduce air bubbles, assemble a few simple tools- A plastic squegee, like the type for smoothing Bondo; A pin, for popping bubbles; A scrap of plastic (YES- a shopping bag will work...). As you apply the vinyl, push the air bubbles out with the scraper. The plastic can be used as a buffer-layer to avoid tearing or scratching.

Rubber brayer.
And why can't you mask off and use plain old rubber cement? Is this being shot into space?

3M I'd say.
They have some adhesive for brake pads in an aerosol that's real grippy.
This is for playa wind, right?
Any of the non-temporary 3M should work.
I don't think it comes in aerosol but 3M weatherstripping adhesive might do it.
