I know that at 12:01 AM Aug.27 th. The main gate will open and people will start poring in to Burning Man.How early can you line up?

The law will ticket you if you park along the hwy..

The gate's a zoo at midnight, and it is too damn dark to find a decent place to camp anyway, even if you're placed it can be a pain. We wait until dawn.

Not a lot of line-up room either, so we don't leave Fernley until 4 or 5 am. And if we get stuck behind a slow-moving trailer, well that's alright too, it ain't a race.

We've been working on our "no drama" mantra to include the drive. I must say, that's been nice.
