What if Tribe.net doesn't come back?

Post by MoisturePup » Mon Apr 02, 2007 4:38 pm

How would you fight off the onslaught of Tribe.net users flooding back to the eplaya if Tribe.net were to go out of biz forever?

Maybe it is a sign that some people need to do work at work and not post to message boards. I heard the USGOV shut them down.

The tribe was down on sunday again for maintance. It's back up!

I couldn't find my old password so I just signed up with a new logon name, but didn't use the old zip code. When you sign up on Tribe you are asked to join the local tribe and I couldn't still couldn't find my old one. I don't think that you are allowed to veiw or join tribes from other states. Unless someone here knows how to. Anyway, I didn't find my old logon and was able to find my homies.

glad to know that its still OK to panic!

Just so if anyone wants to know, the tribe team has been busy because they have just been bought by Cisco systems.
I believe they just transfered hardware. The respose time has been much improved.

Pings are now in ms instead of sec's.

Just so ya know.

The response time might be better but the search feature is still down or at least it was earlier this evening. In any event that place is another site that's full of untapped potential...maybe Cisco can get some good leadership in there and make some more changes. I'm also hopeful they'll boost their enforcement of TOS violations, there's some brutal stuff over there in a few places.

I can't get search on tribe to do anything.
Suddenly, that's true here too.
