Kids at BM

Post by IRISH » Thu Apr 05, 2007 10:00 pm

People!! I'm bringing wife and child to BM for our first Burn. Terribly excitied don't you know. :P

Any burners out there any obvious advise I should have... like... my boy is four - he's a festival veteran so I think he's to the experience. But things like, is the kids camp a winner and should I get him one of these trailer things you can attach to a bike?

I've also booked a big bastard of an RV ... very nice for us.. but is that kind of thing cool at BM ?

:P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

I wouldn't recommend a kid for the first burn, but it will still be great as long as you're well prepared. I will be bringing kids one day, but I don't have any yet so I have no first hand experience. I do know you'll need to read the survival guide extra close since you have to worry about the little one too. Also the RV will be fine. A lot of people bring them and I think it's a good idea with a kid, especially for your first burn.

There's many good discussions about kids at B-Man on the board:
