I'm happy to report that someone named Samantha is on the case and has already indicated that my order has been found. I will of course wait until I have the ticket in my hand before opening the champagne, but so far so fucking good.

oh fuck a duck, my brother may be in the early stages of multiple mylenoma, fucking cancer of the bone marrow plasma cells. Diagnosis isn't finished, but he has 9% of the plasma cells, healthy is 5% or less, and cancer diagnosis is at 10%. oh fuck, treatable, but not curable. oh fuck.

Fucking Jury Duty...

I don't mind one bit doing my civic duty.
I don't mind sitting on a jury.
I bummed that I have to sit for 4-5 weeks as a back up juror and have to hear everything and then not be able to have an input.. Talk about my worse nightmare.. Me no being able to talk.. arrggggg fucking argggg :wink: :wink:
The plus side is that I get paid and pissing off work to boot....

Friday the Fucking 13th of April. A banner day in fucky fuckedness.

34 years ago today, 2 days after her 41st birthday (it was a friday then, too), my mom passed away from a 3 1/2 year fight with the cancer. They had given her 6 months to live, and told her that she should have my brother aborted, might give her a few extra months.

She told them, essentially, "Fuck You". My brother will be 37 this year, and she beat the fuck out of their lousy odds. This back in the day when the cure was worse than the disease, they zapped you with high doses of radiation (fucking Cobalt treatments and IV radioisotopes) and lethally toxic chemo, and she had a tough face all the way through the whole damn thing!

God bless ya mom - we miss ya.

(And oh yeah - FUCK cancer.)
