See, thats the thing, all my relationships have been long term, 10 months, 3 years, and now something like 8 years. It's not that I'm not good at relationships, I'm great at them! That is how I keep ending up with "Friends" where it *could* be something more. The first "Friend" I had like this after I was married, had never been in a long term relationship, and basicly, what he needed was some learnin in how to have a relationship with a woman and keep it going beyond (or in my case, without) sex. I ended up saying to him a lot " You know it's a good thing I'm not your girlfriend or I would have broken up with you for saying/doing that because..." Ok, so after like two years of being honest to god close friends with this guy he got a serious kick ass girlfriend, and they have been together like a year now.technopatra wrote:I'm probably the least qualified person to have an opinion anyway - I've never been in a relationship long enough to even imagine wanting to be with other people.Angry Butterfly wrote:NO.
In fact, it usualy doesnt, but I *want* it to. that is the problem.

I'd love to answer but when it comes to situations like this I have a rule: What happens in Nevada, stays in Nevada. Actually it kicks in the second we start driving West. So as much as I'd love to spill the details I'll have to give you a big smile and a "No Comment".

That's a good question. Damn. I've always just swiped the tag line from the Vegas travel ads and used it without thinking. I guess if your out there it just stays there. People learn to keep their mouths shut, develop selective vision and hearing and just keep on walking. Nothing to see here, move along, you know that kind of stuff.
The more I think about it, is there any vice you can't indulge out there besides legalized drugs?

Ultimate Freedom of Self Expression at BRC: Y
And I thought I read somewhere that even pot was kinda overlooked in miniscule amounts so even that might be on the vice checkoff list, if that's your thing.

... on Rendrag, for posting this in the booozaholic concotion thread:
Take a one-gallon glass ‘sun tea’ jar and pour in 1 liter of Bacardi light rum, 1 liter of Bacardi dark rum and 750 ml of Myer’s rum. Toss in 2/3 of a cone of piloncillo (Mexican brown sugar), 2 vanilla beans split lengthwise, and as much freshly peeled, cored, and quartered pineapple as the jar will allow (usually about one-and-a-half pineapples).
Wait one week.
Then carefully fish out the vanilla beans and holding them over the open sun tea jar, run them through the teeth of a fork allowing the black interior of the vanilla beans to fall back into the mix. Return the bean skins to the mix.
Wait at least one additional week. Spin the glass jar on occasion to mix elements.
When ready to serve, strain the mixture with a cheesecloth or a very fine wire coffee filter to remove all sediment. Serve the clear amber nectar that is the result of this process in small quantities over ice. The infusion of pineapple, Mexican brown sugar, and vanilla mask the fact the your are drinking 100% pure rum.

Why, Mr Smith!
