Hong Kong burner in need of IT job.

Hello,

I'm a 9 year veteran burner that's been living in Hong Kong for the past two years.

After a breakup with my American girlfriend, I've suddenly found myself in a predicament workwise.

Previously, I was an IT architect for a major oil conglomerate for 7 years before I moved here with my girlfriend. We made a decision to move here together, because she had an "expat package." ... translated into realistic terms, means that I left my job to explore her career.

After two years of living here and without a continuous job, I have a hard time explaining my situation to potential employers and recruiters.
