I'm having trouble looking at the events calendar

Post by mpwtml » Thu May 03, 2007 3:45 pm

Hello all,
We are Mike & Tess from Iowa , going to BM for the first time this year.
I would like to see the events calendar to help us plan a few things we don't want to miss. But, it asks for a username & password and I can't find how to sign up for it. Anyones help would sure be appreciatted.
Thanks

It looks like they don't have it hooked up yet. The calendar mostly consists of individual camps with scheduled parties and events, the details of which are probably not settled this early in the year anyway.

Check back in July/August. There is also traditionally a printed guide handed out at the gate.

I tried to get on it and there was some nonsense about having your cookies abled or something like that. I gave up. HOWEVER, now that we're on the subject, the ANNUAL EPLAYA/3PLAYA MEET & GREET will be at 6 p.m. Thursday until the last person finds their underpants or bra at BDC&WB. You can check out last year's URL under 2007 Themecamps (click on Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro) and you'll see it's a lot of fun. One word of warning: The women from Apokoliptika not only are hot, but will try and seduce you and leave you for dead. At least, they tried to leave me for dead. The seduce part is a bit fuzzy I'm afraid.

playaquest just responded to my email about the calendar.

It's broken and they are working on it.

Stay tuned.

Dork-The printed calandar at the gate is printed from this webcal!.
You need to get it in the calendar by a certain date to make it into the gate handout guide.

The Jack Rabbit Speaks says it's still broken and they're looking into it.

Complaining does no good but you would think after 4 months of being down that it possibly could have been taken care of by now. Here it is almost June and a somewhat vital link to events at The Project is worthless.

Yes I realize that there are harried, resource starved volunteers working at it but from registrations being lost without a trace to the non-functioning calendar it seems that some portions of this web site are far from the world class event that Burning man is.

yes, I concur OS...seems we're having some tech difficulties on the greeters shifts as well. I dont know, first time Ive dealt with signing up a Village. Granny said spammers got into greeters shift scedule over the winter and he had to dump it and start over.

But with so many things that need to go into Events calendar...this is not good.

nice to have our collaberation of the TVC already on the personal calendar, maybe we could just submitt that? idunno, though, I think only the TVC members could understand all that...hehheee
Names pinemom, but my friends call me "Piney".
