I need to say fuck now. My landlord is trying to shake me down for $100 because these cats have taken up residence on the property, thru no choice of mine. Sure I participate in the community kitty food offering, but it's open to the public.

One landlord of mine tried a "no pets" policy for a while. The cats and dogs went away, and the mice moved in! (Of course, the motivation behind the policy was an attempt to get the drug dealers mostly feral attack dogs out of the complex, so the landlord was fucked either way. Still, why did they want people to get rid of their cats?) :?

Good luck with the landlord!

(I think maybe I will go lie down for a while, and get up when my laundry should be dry.)

indoor cats end up stinking up the apartment. I hate the fucking smell of cat in an apartment or rental and its a pain in the ass to clean up.

Feral cats are different - if they live outside they probably eat their weight in unwanted critters.

ROBBIDOBS - if a pet fee is not on your lease - your landlord does not have a leg to stand on, and if they arent even your cats - he has even less to stand on.

Fuck to all landlords who do not want cats in their places. Cats are clean, homeschooled, and make the best companions. They are innocent children and should be treated as such.

As far as "the smell", there are pooper scoopers, covered litter boxes, and inscence.

My landlord is great. Sure he's making a mint off me. However, he loves cats.

Love me..love my cat.
I do understand and appreciate the opinions of others. I just feel compelled to defend my furry friends.
