I'm not going to sit and rehash why the Jiffy Lube incedent went down the way it did. The conversation is done to death. I don't owe you an explanation -- too bad you weren't here the first fifty thousand times I gave my opinion on it.

Apparently even a craven groupie like yourself finds it hard to come up with a justification of Larry and BMORG's cowardly behavior in that incident.

I'm like totally bummed that no one brings up the one-armed dog-murderer.

Anybody found a way to blame that on Larry?

You aren't answering the man's question! I still believe it's really Larry making these discussions, and now he's asking a serious question to those with precognitive psychic powers.

Let me just dig out my magic Crystal MethBall and....

BOB: I'm like totally bummed that no one brings up the one-armed dog-murderer. Anybody found a way to blame that on Larry?

Yes. The One-Armed Man was brought in by the LLC to thin out our ranks and thus free up the commissary budget so those worthy enough to remain with DPW could afford a contract from Starbucks. That was in the works for months.

This plan was developed more thoroughly after Will and Flynn realized that they had prematurely told the DPW not to bring any dogs. Faced with not being able to kill off the ranch dogs to feed the hungry masses who build Black Rock City, they had no choice but to switch to more interesting "game."

In other news, I had a three-way with Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix last weekend. Elvis Presley provided a swingin' live music score and Michael Jackson videotaped the whole thing for Public Access. He used Tommy Lee's prince albert as a stedicam.

You have no idea how much this statement disturbs me. Not because I wish anything bad to happen to the guy, but because of the semi-implied cultish feeling this statement represents.

And you have no idea how much your post screwed up my day -- I was counting on the price of irony holding at 2 cents an ounce -- and you just made it shoot through the roof.

The fix is in. You've been recalled due to confusion over the Law.

Mr Green:

Perhaps a better use of your time would be to actually come out and state clearly how you feel you have been personally wronged so that it can be addressed an commented upon. Instead of the inverse: indirect attacks on founders of an event that we all like to participate in.

Maybe you could also explain to me why I should care about the personal motivations of said founders when it's really up to me to make my own experience.

You can see from my footer that I'm the yahoo-so tell me or are you afraid that its a non issue?
I often heard the sorrel nag (who always loved me) crying out, ..."Take care of thyself, gentle Yahoo."

Oh, let's ride this one out.

Hey, look at me, I'm not talking about Larry dying or the LLC being a bunch of craven such-and-suches...!

And since I simply must bite, by the way, to say that the "trolls" on this board seem to be (coming from) the most intelligent posters is a bit of a stretch, Mr. G. On what do you base that?

Sorry, but I must call bullshit, because I think you're just saying that because it's easy to like someone who agrees with you, but in fact, the biggest trollers that I can name, in fact, seem to have skipped those pesky English and writing classes throughout most of middle and high school, and have yet, for the most part, to make any parries that were based on logic as opposed to vitriol and ad hominem attack.

Now, call me a spelling and grammar snob if you must, but I just think your statement falls a wee bit short of the truth.

By the way, K and Bradley are not the same person, please do not confuse the two.

I am not wspr, the hat, or any of the major trolls on this board. You might not want to believe that but that's not my problem, it's yours.

I'm putting the K account to rest. You may all breathe a sigh of relief now.

See you in BRC in 2004!

And Bradley, I really wish you would shut the hell up.

it's pretty clear to me that she couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. if you're going to shoot from the hip, bucking them will not help you keep on target.

Yeah, but III, who cares what the hell she's shooting at? Did you see her recoil action?

You're just mad cause she has a bigger gun than you. Chicks can have guns.

Just give her a short barrel pump action 12 gauge with a pistol grip. She can hold it at her hip, and no worries about hitting the barn.

'Course, you might have to worry about her hitting the rest of the crew. But she'll still look fabulous doing it.
