Women are in no way equal to men. Overall they are quite different both physically and mentally. It's BS that in general they are the same. There are strong negative things that men do much more frequently than women, and visa versa. If "equal" means "same" then you should take an anatomy or psychology class and see what facts back you up. How many women feel safe walking alone at night in many cities? How many men feel safe in the same city? There are many obvious and non obvious differences. Trying to do some bullshit P.C. thing saying "If women are equally good, then they're equally bad" is just as "grasping at straws" and "trite" as saying, "women as equally as good but not bad" because women are different than men. And by the way, that message was not directly conveyed, it is just your narrow minded assumption. There is a difference between acknowledging that women in general differ from men and assuming that just because someone is a woman that she'll follow some stereotypical view on something.i also know that equal to men - many women are evil little monsters.
sensie it's slugs like you who misinterpret the intention of calling 'bullshit' on this notion that women are 'equal to men in only all the good ways' who create a bad name for both genders. go shove your very trite notion of mi·sog·y·ny up your ass.

So are you saying that men and women are biological duplicates?Green Wood wrote:MikeVDS wrote: Women are in no way equal to men.

Or are you saying that men and women should be given equal social and economic opportunity to allow them to achieve their goals according to their individual talents and ambitions no matter what inequalities genetics and biology have established in each individual?

Well definitely saying that they are biologically quite different. So are you saying that men and women are biological duplicates?

The second one is sort of a convoluted thought, and I'm not quite sure what you mean by it. Yes, each individual should have equal opportunity regardless of their sex. To some extent someones individual genetics and biology are going to effect who they are and what they are good at. Some people just cannot grasp certain concepts, those people are obviously not going to be able to go into fields which require understanding of those concepts. So individual biology and genetics effect talents and ambitions to begin with, which is the part of your sentence that confuses me in the first place. If you mean talent and ambitions that are not prevented by specific genetics, then yes I agree.
Huh? What you said is spoken by someone who either has their own biases, prejudices, lack of reading comprehension, or a laps in that comprehension.Spoken like a true women hater
Did I say or imply that one is better than the other? They are just different. If someone said Californians are equal to New Yorkers, I'd also disagree. As a group they are different. And if I say X is not equal to Y, which am I implying is better? Perhaps think a little bit before you call someone a hater of anything.

Not really... A true woman hater would have said something like this.
Who wants fish when you can have chicken?
I don't believe that women and men are equal in all things or the same either. I believe that women and men are to complement one another. But than again I am hetero with a dash of try-sexuality. In my relationship we both acknowledge each others strengths and weaknesses. One of the tricks to finding a suitable partner is to find someone that takes up where you slack off and vice versa.
Example where women and men are not equal. Childbirth. Its just too much work medically to seriously consider adding the works to a man.
Example where men and women are not equal. Beards. Its just not that sexy on a woman. For some I guess it could be but I prefer my women beardless.
Now more about beards... I have decided that I am finally old enough to try and grow a properly righeous beard to be proud of. I am 33 and I didn't have the genes to have one at 18 like I hoped so I wouldn't get carded. Could anyone steer me to a website or good book on how to properly grow and groom and nice long beard?

Senz- OK I'm not exactly trying to piss on your post here but I'm dying to find out what impulse drove you to put this on this particular thread.Sensei wrote:![]()
First you had that post about misogyny, then this. What are you trying to convey here? The thread starts off about a woman who is afraid of creepy men, then it drifts to issues around feminism. One of the wierdest male responses to feminist agenda is the so-called emasculating man. Then you show yourself cheerleading the charge???
Suddenly I'm feeling the creep factor.
I think its a great pic! Nothing like pictures of folks celebrating to bring a smile to someones face. In fact I had it on my pc desktop wallpaper for a couple days it was such a great pic.dana wrote:Senz- OK I'm not exactly trying to piss on your post here but I'm dying to find out what impulse drove you to put this on this particular thread.Sensei wrote:![]()

OK, I admit he does look rather fetching in that red skirt.
(But I'm reserving final judgement until I see a video post of his cheering abilities on youtube.)

Yes it is rape, if the description is accurate, and if there was no consent. Sexual assault can and does happen to men as well as women. Here's a couple of potentially useful links:One morning I woke up to find a woman fucking me while I was having a R.E.M. erection.
http://www.brown.edu/Student_Services/H ... vivors.htm
http://www.mencanstoprape.org/info-url2 ... c_id=49604
The statistics on sexual assault of men by women are sketchy at best. The numbers are low, although very likely grossly underreported.

Let me know protectors of the unspoken word: "Silence is not Consent!"
I might still be able to file rape charges!!!!

No, Dr. I don't think A Zeus is being serious here. Just being provocative.
As a matter of fact I think maybe Senzie should lead us in a rousing cheer from the sqad.
Men? They're all pigs!!!
This only proves how insensitive they can be.
I must go now to heap shame on my filthy penis and it's evil little thoughts.

I agree wholeheartedly! In my opinion, as men we must EMBRACE our inner swine.dana wrote:Men? They're all pigs!!!
By "inner swine", I mean swine-like in a positive, sexy, hetero, confident, cocky, rakish, overtly flirtacious kind of way - James Bond comes to mind as a good archetypal example. Of course, most of us "good" guys already know this, and the "creepy" guys will probably never get it.
Fuck that "sensitive male in touch with his feminine side" bullshit! Puleeze, give me fuckin' break! I am a MAN. I LOVE women. I love strong, smart, independant women, but I don't want to BE one. I sure do love 'em though.
Just my $0.02 worth.
...but it seemed like such a good idea at the time...
Obviously I'm being a little provocative myself. My actual take on this stuff is just to get off the game-board.RingO'Fire wrote:I agree wholeheartedly! In my opinion, as men we must EMBRACE our inner swine.dana wrote:Men? They're all pigs!!!

what this little girl dana doesn't realize here is that there are many (perhaps a majority of) men in the BM community (excluding eplaya) who KNOW the 'squad' rules, and thus creates a warped sense of what the squad can do morally.
call bullshit, and the first line of defense (ie sensie) is to yell 'misogyny' - the second line is to say all men are dogs... sorry dana - it's 'dogs' not 'pigs' - GWTP.
boys: chicks rule. they know this. i know this. to know this is to take away the illusion of power that the american bitch wields. the only power these bitches have in the culture is to choose who they fuck. it's a man's world... sorry babe.
BTW, what is the opposite of 'misogyny'? A: you don't know. Q: why don't you know? A: blame a bitch.
