Help me choose/create my Burningman RV design....

I just brought this 1978 Dodge , found it on Craigslist for $2000 , it will be my BM Special.....it has ugly green and brown stripes on it now.

Which one do you like, the first "two yellow bar"

or this "three yellow bar" design

or suggest your own ! Keep in mind that the RV has corrugated aluminum panels, so something that incorporates horizontal lines and covers the existing ugly brown stripes (small top pic) might work best. My significant other is thinking a "rainbow/sun" design. We are open to any ideas ; BM motif ? Political statements ? You decide! If we use your design you will be the guest of honor at our Playa "Camp Spicy Bar and Grill". Come for tequila shots , rum-mojito's and grilled treats!

For those familiar with photoshop and so inclined, the unretouched image of the rig is at http://www.stevesantabarbara.com/rv.jpg

How about alternating red/silver horizontal diamondstripe reflective?
It looks like red on a white background.
Or just silver.
It's not cheap but lasts a long time.
I saw it done on a plane once and it looked great.
Good safety item too.
You'll be sure people can find your rv too, including you.

Rainbows are cool - But - you will be lumped into the gay fraternity.

If this is your BM rig, I would flame it up, with gnarly flames running from the bottom almost to the top. put a Man in the background in ghost flames, and.

Several rolls of blue painters tape, and a dozen cans of red, orange and black spray paint. and your set. You tube has some kick ass vids on it as well.

Not that there's anything wrong with that right? Best folks I know have rainbows all over their decor. Besides, there's retro hippy rainbow and gay rainbow and save-the-earth enviro rainbow...
"Camp Spicy Bar and Grill" hmm? How about some good Southwest reds/browns/BBQ themed graphics with a huge flaming grill?
Hey you're in SB so am I! (actually Goleta, where I keep my bus)

Didn't the rainbow thing start with the rainbow family?
It is kind of the general impression for the general public though.
That or you've been to a flea market or fair in the last ten years.

Of those two choices, purple blue 100%. The red yellow looks like the inside of a fast food restaurant.

Seems like purple and yellow or purple and orange work sometimes.

Great idea Toolmaker, but he better bring some tape, to tape off the windows too. And burners don't like to draw within the lines.

My suggestion is to collect as many plastic dinosaurs, army men, bottlecaps and whatever other flotsam is available...GOOP it onto the sides in the stripey areas and then paint with as many assorted spraypaint colors as you've got. Slipping a few LEDs or EL strands into the mix would be extra cool....

You can do some very elaborate things with cut vinyl.
They can cadcam cut designs for you too.
You can overlay multiple colors for some amazing effects.
They do this with reflective too.
