Contact Management

This is a very minor quibble, but naming a link "contact management" on a web site seems (to me) to imply that clicking the link will put you in contact with the management...

So when I've wanted to contact the management, I keep getting my buddy list...

Just my 2 pence.

interesting... would 'contact manager' denote the same thing to you? what would you prefer to see? it's not really an address book... hmm... maybe just 'contacts'?

Well, I know "contacts" or "buddies" seems clearer to me. I spent quite a while accessing eplaya through a blackberry, so for the longest time I thought it was a bug related to interaction between eplaya/blackberry. Got on via Mac/DSL, now it seems funny to me.

Seriously tho', I would nominate "buddies" or something akin to it (Buddies might remind too many people of AOhell). A common link I'm sure most people have seen is "Contact Us", which usually gives you an email or some means to communicate with them. That was my first assumption with Contact Management.

Wait, no, I propose it be named "Who Do You Love?" Then the dissallow/ignore list could be "Who Don't You Love?"

Like I said, minor quibble. But is there any word on when the plonk button will be added?

ignore is the middle one, disallow on the right.

Alright, let's hear it - what do you feel is an appropriate label? Or should we just dump it altogether?

The list is for managing buddies (though making someone a buddy doesn't seem terribly useful) and for managing users you've ignored.

I think there is a popup if you choose to be notified of when buddies sign on. Renaming the button may help reduce confusion.
