What is Burning Man? Is it art? Fire? Fun? Work? Play? BURNcast has asked our guests in almost every episode, and no two answers are the same. Now we're asking you!

This is a call for paRTicipation in an on-going community effort to engage burners in writing, sharing, and discussing the core values, personal beliefs and experiences as to the meaning of Burning Man and wonderful community of Black Rock City.

Author Brian Doherty wrote the book "This Is Burning Man" and used 104,614 words to do it. Now we're asking you to tell us what Burning Man means to you by sending in essay of 500 words or less.

Every essay we receive is read and reviewed for potential podcast on BURNcast. This is an on-going project with no dead-line. If your essay is selected, you will be contacted by BURNcast to be invited to read your piece for an upcoming episode.
