Vedges & Gimps Camp:new recruits welcome
Vedges & Gimps Camp:new recruits welcome
[color=green]
Hey burners, or soon-2-B burners!
If all goes as planned and the BORG and Gomonk smile on us, Vedges & Gimps camp will be placed on playa, with maybe 100' X 100' plot and about 4 rows back.
We gots room for maybe 6 or so new motivated members in our light work/maximum fun camp at Green Man'07!
I'm Gargoyle, known to some of you, and a definite gimp since my shattered right leg at BMan'05 on that damn Colossus monstrocity. "Hippy Crippler" I call it. But I got an $11,000 helicopter ride for my troubles, so there's a silver lining there.
Anyway, we'll have other gimpy BMan vets among us, but physical handicaps ain't required. Mental ones qualify, too.
And the 'vedge' thing is a bad pun re: the Green theme.
So if this is you, and you're motivated to have fun, tell bad jokes, laugh alot, and are fully tolerant of all inebriates and dusty comeradery, get back to me.
We'll have 2 deluxe RVs, a reasonable kitchen, maybe 3 golf carts(mainly for gimps, but we can be persuaded), and are populated by very experienced burners who know where the bodies are buried.
Fmr Lost Penguins and Flamingos make up our base.
So write back to Garg at: [email protected] and I'll kick your tires...with my good leg.
Burn on.

Hey unjonharley-
I like how you spell handicapped "handy cap". Sounds almost jaunty and playful.
Yes, the morally 'handy cap' go to the front of the line.
Tell us more about yourself, your BMan experience, sex, place of origin, and expectations at Green Man '07.
We're a b.y.o.-camp. While we'll have some cooking 'facilities', you bring all your own food/water/tent/etc.
Look fwd to hearing back from you.

Just funning you.. I don't like the word handicapped or disabled..
I prefer alterabled.. Yes I am alterabled..
I'm 70 years old and my camp mate is in his 80s.. We have been to BM 6 times and had a great time each.. Our camp is always around 8:30 X G street.. I do a feeble attempt at art and spend most of my day mooping.. I'll have a ric-shaw ride for the evenings, the burn and temple burn.. I try and say hi to every one
Which was the Colossus?
I presume you guys know about Hot Wheelz?
They can always use a hand.

It would be a shame if I had to resort to self-deception to preserve my faith in objective reality.

A friend had a hip, femer and other bits of steel.. At the end of the day she would have to sit in a hot bath to warm up enough to go to sleep..plowman wrote:I pissed of the doc, he wanted to put a pin,3 plates and 12screws in my leg but I said NO way. 5 1/2 months in a cast up to my hip and I still feal it. It’s got to have been done by a number of people, I could imagine irrigation could be a drag but the alkalinity of every thing could be good for the stoma and surrounding skin. I’d guess it would all be a lot easier to deal with in an RV, or trailer.theCryptofishist wrote:Bwahahaha
