I'll take a double! (I guess that means *two* umbrellas  )

Soooo, Zule....would you say that ePlaya is a gateway addiction, leading one down that slippery slope to the *hard stuff* - a week-long buzz in the high desert?

It’s more like methadone for a heroin addict, e-playa helps maintain you between scores well it’s a good story actually I was on e-playa a year before I made it to the desert the first time.

I've noticed that a lot of people (and I'm one of them) make the decision to throw caution to the wind and GO TO BURNINGMAN - and then come here to find out everything they can to prepare themselves as well as possible.

You can prepare physically - food, water, shelter - but I'm not sure you can get your head really wrapped around it until you are there...

So in that sense you are probably right. ePlaya is just something to pass the time waiting for the next big fix - that and keeping close friends close and meeting new ones. :)

yeah getting to know people on line from all over the country and world, is the best part and then getting to spend time with them in person is really cool that’s how I got involved with Apokiliptika and the e-playa bar the fallowing year. My first year I just met the people on line at the e-playa meet and greet, that was cool too .

Well, it's worked out great for me. I was thinking I would end up in the upper alphabet streets and wander around more or less lost for the week, but hooking up with the Booby Bar allows me to camp with some very nice people who have been there and done that enough to get me pointed in the right direction - most of the time. I still anticipate being "lost" a fair amount of the time...

Nick - many of us at the b(o)(o)by bar were virgins last year and had never met before getting to the eplaya, just online. The Eplaya Bar ahd only existed online until last year.

Mozy - Good picture. :D

If you need that perfect background music while sucking on the golden teat try out this site I ran across while looking for something completely different: http://www.ratso.net/cheat12.html

255 beer-drinking songs 8) (although I did notice a few repeats - same song different artists)
