This ain't no Disco, This ain't no party...
I got your fucking Yahoo, and it's in my pants, next to my big yellow banana. Who the fuck are you? Who let you through the godamn door anyway? I read you're 25 post, and let me be the first to tell you, you ain't exactly no fucking T.S Elliot yourself, "Pal". Burning Man is about participating, not just sitting on the fence like some goddamn monkey, occasionally throwing shit balls at the people passing by.Archantael wrote:![]()

I think it's a chow. I got the pic off a site that has infrared photos of various animals. Got a great one of a scorpion I used as my avatar when I posted as DragonBrain. Will probably go back to the doggy, as soon as the flames get too hot. This banana theme is only funny for so long . . .Wind_Borne wrote:BTW, SED, what breed is that infared doggy?
but I'm still a banana!

Got flamethrowers?
Picture removed, bad link. Sorry!
From the tone of the last post I think I need to grab some smores and pull up a seat. This could get interesting. Oh I almost forgot...I need some good beer too, which fridge did I put the Anchor Christmas Beer in?

I hope you're teaching them not to be arrogant and self-centered. I hope you're not teaching grammar or etiquette.
You seem to be taking this thread personally. Why not use the PM function for such responses?[/i]

I think someone beat you to it, at least informally. Last year the camp just up Man of ours was occupied by scat throwing monkeys!Rob the Wop wrote:Oh oh oh, theme camp idea!Last Real Burner wrote:not just sitting on the fence like some goddamn monkey, occasionally throwing shit balls at the people passing by.

You know... Arch, Stolen... there is *something* here you might want to consider.
If the tone of a thread turns in such a way that you don't like it, it's your responsiblity to correct it. That's right. If *you* don't like it *you* have to fix it. You think the tone has been lowered? Contribute something high brow. Whining about the stupidity does nothing to help.
While I don't agree with everything LBR said... I certainly understand why he reacted that way. I might get irate if called a yahoo. It *was* sort of a fence-sitting shitball toss.

My ears are burning
Excuse me....Did someone call for a yahoo?
And I swear I have never ever been in Mr. Smith's pants. But maybe I've been in his shoes.

I often heard the sorrel nag (who always loved me) crying out, ..."Take care of thyself, gentle Yahoo."

Youuuuuuu might also find that a good number of folks here pretty much know how to stick up for themselves especially if you go back and check the post history of the person(s) you're eager to defend.I was defending another memember of the board.
And..... you might also come to realize that one of the interesting facets about this collective group of jokers is that you ain't gonna teach most of 'em shit. It's one of the things that make for a somewhat dynamic and unique place. There's no Saving the World taking here. Most of us will park our asses faster than a farm donkey at the first sign anyone's trying to 'teach' any of us anything.I also teach people to show respect and tolerence towards other people.
