If the whole marketing ploy IS a Cacaphony gig to kill the event once and for all... what will YOU do on Labor Day Weekend after it's all dead and gone?

Answers in the poll or below - hell, this is FUN!!!

Start working the SF ren faire again. It's a very nice site. Haven't gone since the first year due to it overlapping with leaving for BM.

Eh, I dunno, get drunk, get laid, do some art, sit and bitch, wear weird clothes, hang out online, blow shit up, set fire to large artistically arranged piles of wood. Wait, what was the question?

um, sturgis, the event is 6-12 August.... otherwise... it'll be a sleepy little town with a large motorcycle hangover.

I know the dates, I'd be rescheduling my vacation time is all...so my big week long trip West would still happen...just not so far West and a couple of weeks earlier.

just go to the regionals. They are bound to get bigger. So instead of 1 big burn with 40,000 there will be 3 or 4 burns with 10,000 to 15,000 burners. works for me! :D

I am not sure what I will do...

But whatever it is...it must include the use of 3000ft of 1" EMT conduit (in 10' lengths) Silver Tarps and 2567 Ball Bungees....As that what we use for our camp shade structures...

Continue to enjoy the playa. Amazinly it is still here the other 51 weeks of the year. Although some times it a big lake if we get any rain or snow at all.

The exact same things I did before I started going, during when I still went, and now that I quit going.

If you can't enjoy life without Burning Man, then you need to reprioritize your life and start being creative and weird off-playa.

Word.

I'll start throwing outdoor raves in Eugene. I heard there's a nice field there with no rave in it.
Thanks to Addis, I had more free time.

This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end

Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
Ill never look into your eyes...again

Can you picture what will be
So limitless and free
Desperately in need...of some...strangers hand
In a...desperate land

Lost in a roman...wilderness of pain
And all the children are insane
All the children are insane
Waiting for the summer rain, yeah

Theres danger on the edge of town
Ride the kings highway, baby
Weird scenes inside the gold mine
Ride the highway west, baby

Ride the snake, ride the snake
To the lake, the ancient lake, baby
The snake is long, seven miles
Ride the snake...hes old, and his skin is cold

The west is the best
The west is the best
Get here, and well do the rest

The blue bus is callin us
The blue bus is callin us
Driver, where you taken us

The killer awoke before dawn, he put his boots on
He took a face from the ancient gallery
And he walked on down the hall
He went into the room where his sister lived, and...then he
Paid a visit to his brother, and then he
He walked on down the hall, and
And he came to a door...and he looked inside
Father, yes son, I want to kill you
Mother...i want to...fuck you

Cmon baby, take a chance with us
Cmon baby, take a chance with us
Cmon baby, take a chance with us
And meet me at the back of the blue bus
Doin a blue rock
On a blue bus
Doin a blue rock
Cmon, yeah

Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill

This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end

It hurts to set you free
But youll never follow me
The end of laughter and soft lies
The end of nights we tried to die

This is the end

Write a long, rambling and ill-informed memoir filled with contradicting factoids and underwhelming revelations..."I ran into Larry Harvey, Actiongrrl AND David Best in a Japanese collectibles store in Ann Arbor, Michigan!" "I worked in a one-hour photo shop with Tony Perez's sister!"
Ah, yes...It's all coming back to me....Just need a title. ("THAT Was Burning Man?!?" springs to mind...)
