I confess I'm pretty pissed off at all the helpful people who make my life into a production. Today I went to the bookstore and I was reaching to unhook a canvas bag from the back of the chair, because it had books in it I wanted to sell and some woman just started helping me. Excuse me, do any of you want people rooting around in your bags and invaded your personal space?

Stuff like that won't stop anytime soon, Fishy. Most people want to help and don't stop to think about things, really. And again, sometimes they're just rude and condescending about it, as least some folks I've seen anyways. And then there are those who are mandated, by their religion or otherwise, to "do good", and this blinds them. Makes it all about amassing their "Do-gooder points".

Either way it is not gonna stop, and it IS gonna take a hell of a lot of patience on your part. Maybe a polite, quick, frank, educational conversation with folks like that?

Ok, Back from Skiing...

I confess that when I got back from weekend of skiing a few weeks back, that I thought our 9 year old goldfish had died. When I started to give it the big flush, it came back to life when it hit the cold water. Yes I flushed and still told the kids it had died....

Everytime I see the "fishbowl" game at the carnival or state fair, I play until
I win one, then take the goldfish out of the little bowl as soon as the game attendant
hands it to me and I swallow it live, just to freak them out !!!

I was without internet for about a year and a half, and the cravings subsided...but alas, since recently on-lining again it's like digital meth. Furthermore 1.) I think I will only get deeper & more hooked, and 2.) I like it
