I think it's a very good resource.

We brought out a new Shelter Systems 14' dome last year, and it worked great. No wind problems, but we were not on the edge of a road or anything, and pretty sheltered.
However, there were several tents/shade structures blown over in our camp during the Great Windstorm of 2006, and our dome didn't have any issues. (In other words, it was still standing when we got back to it, and not much dust inside)

Ditto re: the above comments -- I don't have first-hand experience, but I haven't encountered anyone with serious complaints, and the company has specific designs & setup advice oriented toward Burning Man & the Black Rock Desert.
However, the org came out against PVC this year, if you care about orgthink.
