So which location are we in this year?

Per the BLM Permit, the event will be held in alternating locations based upon maximum attendance numbers of either less than 40,000 people, or 40,000 to 50,000 people. (At least I think that's what it says!) Last year we were in location B and previously we were in location A. If we go over 40,000 we are supposed to move to location C. Otherwise we would be back in location A this year. So where are we? Here are some links to the permit docs and stuff. The details of the alternative plans are outlined in the Environmental Assessment in Section 2 for the most part

Louise and I went out on July 4, and we saw a crew out there on a work detail. The crew was out there setting up for communications; they said it was center camp for 2007, and our GPS said 40.76684, -119.22770.

If you go to google maps and past that in, you get a pointer thats just off from the center of center camp, so I figure we were using a different datum than they were.

My understanding is that the city will be located on the site last used in 2005.
