The Newsletter Stinks

Post by Oreally? » Mon Jul 16, 2007 10:33 pm

I just got the August to September 2007 guide in the mail and it stinks to high heaven. Please tell me these are soy based inks and not some toxic stew. Bravo for recycled content-is it post consumer? If not, shame on us.

Hey! I got two of them. Despite using that form to remove my snail mail address from their list. I guess you don't get a choice when you buy a ticket.

I heard once they viewed it as some sort of legal thing, but honestly couldn't there be a way out? Give us the option of viewing an electronic version, or getting a crappy one printed in small font on newsprint or something. It's not as if every ticket holder gets one anyway - what about people who go to walk-in outlets or who buy a ticket second hand?

Having just reviewed some info regarding secondhand ticket sales, I can tell you that it's suggested that the recipient of a secondhand ticket be added to the newsletter mailing list. My assumption is that it's one more hedge against some uninformed newbie wandering out into the open playa and Donnering themselves.
