This is all Larry Harvey's fault. When he made the rules, he said no buying or selling. Silly guy; he should have said,,, no stealing. Every year, I lose a couple of bikes. BM has 7,000 volunteers and many thousands more who bring a true spirit of community.
If the fucking thieves bring an ambiance to Burning Man that necessitates a barbed wire perimeter, then burning man is in decline,,,, no matter what the attendance numbers are.
I told the Ice Queen that I'm not volunteering or attending this year. Too many assholes. I'll wait til after the crash and see if it thins out some of the wankers.
I don't post things because I believe that they are the absolute truth. I post them because I believe that they should be considered.

Sounds like something you should have included in your theme camp plan.

Mind telling us what Harley said about it?

A field trip to Tractor Supply Co. will reveal loads of SOLAR POWERED ELECTRIC FENCE GEAR....I'm tempted every time I go there for my #5 grade bolts, and to pet the bunnies.

i still remember being pried off a juiced fence at the old Kalamazoo landfill when I was a kid...I was trying to pet the goats and bison, and had both hands locked on the wire and both feet on muddy ground. *NEEP* *ERKK* *ACKK* *IGKK* (twitch)
