Where is the Psy Trance?

I want to know who I should be submitting my demo to, to play at theme camps and the like.

And also where the psy trance camps are!

I realize, a lot of this may be by accident, but I'd like to know anything if it's out there.

I will be playing at my camp, Outpost23, as well. :)

There are lots of people making arrangements on isratrance, going to be a killa year for psy trance on the playa, I know of 2 major sound camps so far there. Also Opulent Temple is having a psy trance night and there is a psy wedding. Nice to know Outpost 23 is comin back!

There isn't really a "submit demo here" spot, on e-playa or anywhere else. It's a function of connecting with the right people - be it on the playa or off - and then working something out.

I'd recommend posting on the artists seeking stages thread, and keeping your eyes on the stages seeking artists thread. Those act as good 'catch-all' threads for situations where the people booking for their camp/stage don't have the opportunity to read all the various threads posted by people interested in playing somewhere.

Offhand, I know there will be a Green Moon camp organized by some of the Green Sector & Moontribe folks, but I suspect that if you're part of Outpost23 you may have already heard.

Thanks! I just read through the stages seeking artists thread, didn't find anyone looking for psy trance. I did however post to your artists seeking stages thread.

As for anything I may have heard being part of Outpost23...I haven't...I'm in Vancouver, Canada!! Got in by being friends of Sparkle's. ;)

Ideally sound camps and folks interested in psy trnace will register with Playa Info and include the words "psy or trance" in their profile information.

If you register at Playa Info and include those words then others can easily find your camp.

I'm an avid fan of trance and help organize events. As soon as I get to the playa I'll be seeking out camps and people and a stop by Playa Info is first on my to-do list.

You're in for a real treat, then. Check with your campmates when you arrive, and look specifically for the Green Moon camp.

check out Want It (unmapped, up 9:30) if you're into progressive psytrance. in fact, if you're a DJ who plays prog psy, send me a message and we'll see if we can get you some time on the decks. proggy stuff only (antix, flowjob, freq, vibrasphere, etc.) please - none of the super hard bangin' stuff. that's great for other camps, but we're picky bitches

I know that a few of us from www.area709.com will be letting some prog/tech/nighttime psy rip at "Camp Lemuria", located at 2:00 and Grassland Friday night all the way from 1030pm to 630am.

As well, we are a part of the Greenmoon camp, and will be hosting an Area709 a night of prog/tech/nighttime psy on the Tuesday night, as well as getting in with the rest of the artists from green sector at Greenmoon on Wednesday night.

I hear a rumour this year that all the psytrance will be located 4 miles south of the city proper, and you will have to ride your bikes or art cars to the trance ghetto.
