Hi there!

I'm a SF transplant to LA, and I'm feeling very disconnected from the BM scene. I was learning poi before I left ... love to start that up again. Also can paint and sew and hammer as needed. Would love to go out and dance for starters :) Any suggestions? Thanks, I completely appreciate it.

tribe.net has an LA Burners tribe, good for event listings and connections

keep an eye out for Space Island and Mutaytor events

Wanna dance? Check out the Mor Bar on Main St. in Santa Monica. $2 Tuesdays and Megaton Thursdays are always chock full of burners.

I'm in medical school, so I'm a little short on free time, but I'll definitely check it out. My brain works better if I get my dance on. Also, I'm lonely for burners ... can't wait!

you might check out Temple Bar in Santa Monica or Buddha Bar in Hollywood. they have groovy music to dance to... and DJ Cheb i Sabbah comes down to play here quite often. tonight @ Temple btw...

Watch for the Moon Circle events that they have every few months... we all get together at Docweiler Beach (just south of LAX) and spin at night... it's the only beach that allows fire!!!

You can also check out Gigsville. Lots of us are in or around the L.A. area. It's the largest and oldest village at Burningman. It tends to attract the misfits of Burningman. If "We're not doing this because it's smart..." or "Safety 3rd" sound like decent mottoes then you might like us.
