This new device may experience very little friction with the flat iron wheels.
What would happen if you used or modified the wheels to have minimal surface tension (contact) with the ground? Is this going to be the 08 version of "The Contraption"?

It actually has fitted Semi-truck retreads for the front tires. I worried about the concave profile of the steel tires digging into the playa and making extra friction for us and lots of dust for everyone else. The rear tires were only available in a chevron tread pattern. Beggers can't be choosers on that one. Still should be fine.
