This will be my first Burn! I'm super excited!

At first I ordered 100 photons, then I decided that won't be the most terrific gift for 90% of the people I meet. So I've decided to gift Hemp Granola. I just need the right medium to house the food. I was at first thinking candy bags.. I was reading for hours last night and came across someone stating that it's not the best idea to gift things that create waste. Then I started seaching online for Biodegradable bags. I found some kitchen bags, garbage bags, etc, but no ziploc or candy like bags?

All help/suggestions/comments/thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated!

I'm SO excited..!!!!

There are some increasing number of people that will not accept your gift because it is unsealed. There are some people that think it's hilarious to put altering substances into things only to tell people AFTER they ingest them.

Not cool....everyone should be able to make their own choice.

But be aware this may cool the reception to your carefully crafted gift.

Hi, OB1,

If I may make a different suggestion, don't bother about gifts on your first time on the playa. Spend all your time taking it all in and being there, without worrying about gifts. Being there is a gift in itself. If you find after your first year that you have a great idea of something to share, go for it. It's too hard on your first year to get it all handled just living.

If you really want to give gifts, that's fine, too, but gifts are not _required_. That makes them not gifts but obligations.

Thank you guys very much for the insight!

You totally convinced my Phil.

I'm coming overly prepared so if I feel like giving a gift, I'll have something to give.

I was picking out some clothes today and spotted a super awesome sweatshirt, I put it on..... the excitement!

The other weekend I was given some goggles to wear, I also put those on..... More excitement!

I can't wait!
