Who would you most like to meet on the playa in 2007?

Post by Archantael » Wed Aug 15, 2007 1:44 pm

If you could meet one person from any of BM's online communities in person this year, who would it be? And if you don't mind sharing, tell us why?

I have two I'd like to meet. Kamikaze Kelly from Tribe and DaBomb. The former is on my list because I like his posts and the latter because I'd say thanks for her burncasts and other community focused work. The burncasts have taught me a lot about the event and it lacked the bias of the 3Playa's old hats which was nice.

(Anyone from the usual sites / lists like the eplaya, 3Playa, Tribe, etc is what I was thinking with this)

hey, I know Kamikazee! Id also like to meet DaBomb because I really like what she's doing for the Community (sip) and I respect her civility in these sometimes heated debates.

I'd also like to meet the fire elf and listen to his mind hum

I'd like to meet a man who is handy.. handsome and works with tools.
Maybe a guy who likes to build stuff. Inventor a plus!

Under a full moon eclipse, perhaps.. Tall , dark & handsome
(if he stinks like metal, that's a big turn on!)
and uh... Could he be wearing a skirt?! A LONG one... like a sarong....
his brown eyes twinkling with devilish inventions... Oh YES~

Okay - Well, that's who I'd like to meet.

But melting it with thermite gives a nice aroma, which may make up for the lack of sheer mass. Did he mention thermate though? Uhh, the smell of that might scare off even the metal lovin' ladies. Stick to thermite please.

I was hoping to run into myself out there. I catch a little glimpse every year.

Since I'll be camping in Terminal City, I should get to meet just about everyone else...

Bob has been on my list of people to just "glimpse" let alone meet since the 1st year I made it to BRC.
He's almost taken on mythical status, seriously how many people have patches and CafePress websites devoted to them?

As for Badger I'd like to meet him too. In Thunderdome! Not that there's a snowball's chance of that happening.

Go to the event and not meet anybody?!? Is that even possible?!! (I suppose someone could drive there in a fully stocked r.v. and not come out the whole week.... :? )

All the people who actually build the infrastructure of the city. It's my understanding that these people spend WEEKS on the playa, buliding a little piece of heaven for ME!

At the end of the week I am so ready to leave and not see playa for a long time. But these amazing people spend so much time out there, working hard to create the best city in the world.

I'd like to shake each hand that built this city. Here's a pat on the shoulder and a very hearty "THANK YOU"
Chillax, dude.
