Campimg at Pyramid Lake on Saturday and Sunday
How is camping at Pyramid Lake on the Reservation the weekend before the gates open? Is the Tribe burner freindly or should we find another place to camp? I am aware of the camping fees and the deep sand to deal with. Are there other burners that have camped there. :?:

The Paiute tribe has been very nice to Burners over the years as long as you follow the laws of their community, just like you would in any small town. Remember that you're camping in conservative Nevada and not inside BRC and you should be fine.

We camped at Pyramid Lake last year, the night before we went in to BM.
It's a great stopover place and you can swim in the lake. Not crowded at all when we were there. Just a few other campers on the Sunday night before regular BM entry. A few fire spinners which was fun and got us in the mood even more!
