We need a geny for 1 night- Thursday- for a party, sound-system and lights. If you have one we could borrow in exchange for some gas and good kharma (and invitation to the hop), please get in touch.

I think you'd do best to score one by proximity -- where are you camping?
If I was to stop using the subjunctive, would anyone notice?

It would also be a good idea to state what size you need. Lights and sound systems can draw a lot of current so be realistic.
