looking at the webcam I see what looks like a nice dust storm heading towards the railroad crossing .....

Well, I didn't see a dust storm, but I saw a semi-truck and a loaded up, 1970s or 1980s vintage SUV headed towards the playa!

(Darn, between the web cam and the cold [for August] and damp weather we've been having here in Wisconsin, I'm really sorry I can't make it this year! {And there is no way I can afford to skip the job interview on the 29th, either.}])

What's crazy is that you can look at the upper left hand corner and see the dust storms and the event has not even started yet.

it someone sees a duststorm please save it and post. the prt scr button is on many keyboards, and then you can just paste into any application to save it.

Well, compared to yesterday, It was prolly only a dust devil this morning..... Winds are pretty calm........ Yesterday, though, I'll bet was white-out all day......Forcast sez we look pretty good until Monday..... (*shit*)... my greeters shift..........
