I thought I would start this thread so people could post scheduled performances of musical groups performing live at BRC. (Like the handy DJ Lineups thread that meyouseek started).
I know the Golden Cafe will be having live music, and the Havana Room. Transmorphagon will have lots of live music, with an emphasis on funk. There's some great bands like Glitch Mob, Chapa and Consider the Source... Don't know if Free Peoples will be back? And Mutaytor, of course.

Miss Black Rock City 2007 Pageant featuring HUNKAMAMA
Thursday, 5-6pm
@ the Boogie Universal ARTS Collective
9 + esplanade
LA's HUNKAMAMA has teamed up with the MBRC Project to provide the pageant people with non-stop entertainment. Described as Led Zeppelin mashed up with Aretha Franklin, the ladies of HUNKAMAMA have been known to wear sashes during their shows in the past... so we know they'll fit in just fine.

Burning Piano Man at Hot Monkey Sox
We are hosting a Playa Piano Recital on Thursday at 8:00ish (Sunset) at Hot Monkey Sox Camp. Estuary & 5:30.
Come share your favorite performance piece, or that one you always played to show off for relatives. All levels and genre's welcome.
This recital is to make up for my 9-year-old's missed recital this summer. Mom screwed up, (that's me). He'd love it if others would join him in a performance for BRC

I'll be performing live seditious original songs from Austin at Center Camp Cafe again this year. Monday, 5-6pm just before the Opening Fire Ceremony. Screeds from the heart of Shrub Country, plus some dirty ditties.

I will be performing with a band called, Peachcake. We play LIVE ELECTRONICA/DANCE-ROCK music, and the show is very high-energy, and crowd-oriented, trying to essentially make the crowd the show, and unify all spirits and individuals there to be one collective of music enthusiasts just reveling in the greatness of sound!
If you're interested here is all the info. of our performances:
Wed. the 29th and Fri. the 31st
On the Shiva Vista Stage (Located near Center Camp)
@: Sunset (approx. 5:30ish).

I would love to see an organized schedule of live music only. Really would like to support the bands of Black Rock. Dj's are cool too but I am always looking for more variety.
