That one hurt, but you are right.

I took any corporate stuff off the site.

I am going to keep my personal stuff for the desert. Not the camps.

It is all about you.

This is gonna rock hard!

Thanks

Hey Virgin...

Post by thirt33n » Sun Aug 19, 2007 1:40 pm

...I'm practically a virgin here on eplaya but I'm coming home again in a WEEK!!

On this subject:
I'm a songwriter and I have a shitload on CD's that unfortunately are not yet sold out. I'm know that it's a GREAT record and I'm bringing some but I personally feel strange gifting my "packaged for consumption" product. I usually feel much better on tha playa when the natural flow of things allows me to sing some interested folks some songs. That's me.

Having never been, I urge you to come and look around, breath, get familiar with the city's pulse and what can be learned/experienced before you come in with expectations.

It IS a cross-section of society so if you search theme camps and inner BRC communities you can probably find the right folks to share your work with.

....Right now the hair on my arms is caked with flour and water papier mache goop because this is the time of year I get to depart my "real" responsibilities and do things that make most people around here say "what the hell are YOU doing?" to where I answer..."HAVING FUN"

..you've probably had enough of this thread.

I would suggest burning a copy of your book. Release it into the atmosphere and to the Gods...they'll do what's right.
(I'm NOT saying burn and forget, just sent it up YO.)

shshshs...hear that? Someone just struck a match.

Burn bright and hot brothers and sisters
blow.

Radical Self-Expression

Post by Bootzy2012 » Mon Aug 20, 2007 9:24 am

This thread is a great example of the diverse impressions and examples of the way people see Burningman. I believe that we all have an opportunity in BRC to express who we are, what we believe and how we feel in an environment that allows ALL of that expression simultaneously without the thought police taking us away. Be expressive, share your thoughts and you might possibly have a fantastic time! The book sounds awesome...suggestion: take the main theme of the book and write about it to contribute at the Temple. Write on the walls on how we must die to our addiction to consumption, how we must honor the dump miners who live on our trash, and pray that they be out of a job in the future. In that way, you will have contributed to the spiritual soup of all things BM when the Temple burns on Sunday. Intention is everything, especially on the Playa. Thanks for having the guts to share your art. If Radical Self Expression is not promotional, I don't know what is.
....So to then limit gay people to simple sexual orientation is really the worst harm that can be done to a person. ~Malidoma Some

Well, I am a virgin, and ya know what I am gonna do???
Have Fun and experience the whole thing....or as much as possible.
I don't have any specific plans, other than to try and find a friend of a friend.
The veteran I am going with says my sole objective my first time is to have fun....
Well after reading this thread...I was thinking about getting people together and doing a read of Monty Python's Holy Grail......ya know the "go away before I taunt you again one"!!!!!!!!
