yeah - we can't get out till Thursday this year, so we'll be the clean, smiley, non-ruined-camp people that everyone else hates on Friday... or gets to be burnier than, depending on perspective. i've been thru my share of dust storms out there, and can't say i'll be sorry to miss an extreme weather experience. sure it would build character, but so would a few beers with Joel at Bruno's!

Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!
I'm sitting here in Winnemucca, Nevada...this has been the trip from hell. I didn't even get 5 miles from the house, I'm pulling out from putting air in my tires when this guy backs up and smacks the back end of my truck. Fortunately the truck is driveable and off we go.
My girlfriend's plans to work on her laptop while on the drive out got derailed by fucked up cell phone coverage and other glitches.
Then we get to Winnemucca and I get a call that my payment on my car insurance wasn't received and they cancelled my coverage. Now I've got to straighten that out and see if I had coverage at the time of the accident..which wasn't my fault. I can walk out the motel room door and see Jungo Road...and I'm not on it. This fucking sucks.
Then I turn on the TV and find that the man got torched ahead of time.

That being said I'm still in Nevada, my girlfriend got to walk on the Bonneville salt flats and see things she's never seen, and it's really not that bad...
I just hope I can get to BRC and things will get fucking better.
