What type of car to rent?

What do you think is the best type of car to rent? I plan to us a tent, so just use the car as a transport vehicle. I was thinking maybe something with a trunk, so that I could keep things in the trunk, but keep the dust out of the inside of the car? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!
