Hi all
I arrive on Thursday night to Reno on a flight from Ireland via LA. I have never been to the Burning man before and this whole trip was very last minute for me and I am a bit nervous/excited about it. Should i try to get to Black Rock City late thursday night (11pm) or stay in Reno and come in the morning. Is there a bus service to Gerlach from Reno and if so where do I get it from? Any help would be really appreciated.

No bus service. rent a car, or try to find out ahead of time if you can hook up with a ride.
If you do rent a car, don't tell them where you are going, and be aware that if they find out they it might violate the lease. And be sure that you get it washed and detailed after you get off the playa. ONe of the truckstops between wadsworth and sparks offers a burningman special wash with detailing for %30. Go through twice.
