Bob seeking Kerri From San Juan Islands

Post by Bobinsb » Wed Sep 05, 2007 12:07 am

Hi Kerri, we met at the HBGB tent. We just started talking at the healer sign-up postings, and then we simply connected. I could see that you were struggling with something, something really deep - and indeed you were. Your relationship of 23 years was dissolving, and you were in deep pain, trying to figure it all out. Our connection was so real that I felt you at a gut level, and I was just there for you. No accident, no synchronicity - just the universe doing its thing.
We went to a talk of nonviolent communication, but I had to run off to something else (a big mistake!). We agreed to try to reconnect, but it never happened. You were on Freshwater and 4:30, and I was on Desert at 8:30.
The quality of our sharing was intense, real, memorable; one human helping another human in need, but connected at a very deep level. I was deeply moved, and I looked forward to talking more.

Would love to hear from you.

I can't help wondering if she felt like having you share that with the world. 'Course, you'd know that, being so 'connected' and all.

good point. Thanks for the reminder. Perhaps I should have used more code, but none of it was a secret. In fact, she was open about her struggle. It's sad that many of us hide the truth to 'avoid embarrassment', but that shuts us down a lot. It makes our lives a lie. And then we have to go to Burning Man to become ourselves again.

I could philosophize further, but I guess extreme circumspection is the order of the day, and I appreciate your point of view.

Take it with a HUGE grain of salt, m'kay?
I'm feeling particularly snarky this evening, that's all.
I expect it'll only last about a fucking year, too.
Ugh.
