Baby Born During Sat. Burn?

Does anyone have information on the baby born Sat. night during the burn?

I rather doubt this is authentic, we have enough rangers in camp I'd have heard the murmurs at least. Not a peep.

There were no children born in BRC during the event.

The woman was found by a person I know well and trust to have the event somewhat correct. The details certainly might have been confused!

She was found in distress somewhere between 8:00 and 9:00 at around 9pm Sat. The Medics were contacted and they said she was pregnant. She supposedly had a baby within a short time of being found and was then transported to a hospital.

I was surprised to see several mid to late term pregnant women last week.

I'm really curious now. Was it false labor? Did she have a baby? Was she just not well and happened to be pregnant? I've not been able to find any information.

True.. and yes the folks at Remsa/medic tent handled the details. While I love the Rangers I would not want them to handle anything more than getting the poor woman to the medics so she could get moved to the hospital. I was camped in the DPW ghetto so I did not get to see it or find out any details. I would imagine sometime in the next couple weeks the details will become available. This is not the first time a baby has been born at BM and there were a bunch of burner babys about.

The person who found her stayed at her request. I'm still trying to contact a BRC Medic friend who may know more. I won't post personal details but will follow-up with general info if I can confirm.

Wonder if the baby was Jermaine reincarnated? That'd make it a nice circle.

Alot of folks know about it, we were talking about it in the hotel parkinglot in Reno for a bit. I met one woman who had tried to plan a birth on playa but the lil bugger wouldn't come out. She claimed to be due, looked due, but had no indication of upcoming labor. I was a late baby.. 10 months so I imagine it would be kinda hard to plan an exact date. I saw alot of pregnant women at the event and had one campmate @ 3 months. As much as I am personally opposed to breeding I think it is a beutiful thing for others so inclined. I imagine a few were concieved at BM but thats a whole nother thread.

PS none of them are mine.. I was too busy for sex at Burningman, plus I shoot blanks last time I checked.
