.........OOOOoo Pretty Colors...............................
morning barpeeps. Anybody up for Jack and Coffee? I'm buying.
Who else is back from the Playa? <blick>Where you at?
I just got out to the ranch yesterday, after 4 days in the city... man it takes me most of a day to decom. The city vibe just frazzles my being to the core, it is offset with being able to hang with cool and togeter people, and the convience factor helps but other than that.

Rambling memory alert:
I have to admit, I am waaaay spoiled on fireworks since living in Japan. In Yokosuka, the big show was over the bay, and on the base side you could sit on the grass, right under the big areials. The fireworks were loaded on a barge, and some of the ground fountains were fired so they would come up out of the water. Different business groups and guilds would compete, each getting a ten to fifteen minute segment, each trying to be the best with new and fancy shots, plus a huge grand finale. This meant a ninety minute to two hours continuous firework show. Oh, ooh, ah, i, ee, and sometimes y.
Then there was the year one fell short and blew up the barge, no one was killed, luckily, we could see them diving into the water.
And the shows near Yokohama and Tokyo were even bigger ... we avoided those, traffic and crowds were immensely impossible.

Bridget the Midget to Black Rock City,
and returned alone!
But alas I need a drink.
and was looking for this years Satellite Photo.
anybody seen it yet?

I can't even IMAGINE that many fireworks going astray!
Diving in the water would be the best bet... though- I'd hold my breath for a REALLY long time. . . Ah.... to BE a rocket scientist.
Hey Sputnik! We never really got a chance to talk this year on playa! Hope your burn was a good one!
And I have to thank Godammit, too. After pumping hard on the contraption, that boat was the most beautiful thing in the entire world.
Fishy - I'll take one of those. Thanks!
