Steam powered bar? Yeah!!! The condenser unit would have to be massive to recoup as much water as possible (ask Abner Doble about that!) but I could really see that. Electrical powered from Solar cells with a small steam powered dynamo backup. Polished copper wires on ceramic insulator posts to carry the power... yeah! Ans as a just in case motive source (learned *that* lesson this year!!) a hit-n-miss McCormick motor... Chugga wheeze wheeze wheeze wheeze kerCHUG WHeeza wheeza...

I have (somewhere) a lot of Doble's engineering stuff. Brilliant man - built not only the optimum steam car but also a steam airplane. What's NOT to love?

Um... yeah. BIG source of discussion out in the woodshed right 'bout now. For that, for the crew of doom, I personally and collectively apologize. If we do decomp be assured this will NOT be the case... NYET.

Missed the couple of things I really wanted this year - one was a ride on LeChat's Contraption (THAT really pissed me off!) , Two was the M&G on Thurs (Equally Peeved!) Also ended up stranded by the org out there. No shit. THAT ended that for me, period, Promise me something and vanish, leaving me to pure fucking luck and begging to get off playa. Bullshit. NEVER again.

Anyway, yeah, didn't see enough of my friends, let others "thing" screw up my burn. If I go next year (have Italy and now Tibet vying for the same slot - go figure!) it will NOT be that way, no way no how nyet!!!

BTW - Makers and Java - 2 for Amerika!

Yeah, sorry to hear about all that drama for you Sue.

I do have to say that I spent a great deal of time lounging in my camp, drinking beer and margaritas and playing jarts. Which was fabulous (except that my jart throwing ability is one of the reasons they are banned)

Yes was an extremely slow, tiring decomp.

My car still looks like I actually burried it out there in Black Rock, pulled it out and drove back.

But, as long as I remeber to not wear BLACK..Im good!

Found out I have to go to DMV first to change name THEN social sec. office...heheee
yesturday, I got to town(first touch of default stuff) and nothing really went right, so before I got all tonge twisted, I came home to re-group and I will try it again today.

Funny, its kinda like vacationing in Alabama, ya come home with a accent,and people you know look at ya funny, coming home from BM, you have a jenasequa~sp?, that people seem to notice, but cant put their finger on, so I think they more look at you like ya got the flu or sompin, and steer clear of you!?

Just sippin on my screwdriver, missing the hell out of everyone. Thanking every fucking God ever created or imagined for the oppurtunity of seeing you all again; even if it was for a moment. Every minute a gift. I love that FUCK CANCER board BTW. My sister wouldve loved it. I didn't have sharpie on me at the time so I could not write anything.

At any rate, want to let you know I spoke with the infamous ZOOM today. He is doing well and sends his regards. He seen BM broadcast on FOX of all places and was asking WTF on the MOnday burn. We laughed about it. Hopefully we can get his skinny ass to the burn next year. He had som wicked BM withdrawals this year. He is still bartendin and is happy. He misses you all as do I.

Still can't get over the explosion of the Man Saturday night. Woa.
