What's Up in the Bay Area?
If anyone has ideas for things to do and see, please call me.
I'm interested in burner events or not, and I would like to hear from the Cacaphony Society if they are still around.
I'm checking out the area as a place to possibly move to, so a little real world won't hurt.
I want to see the big arts groups like the Box House and so on, so any suggestions in these areas would be nice.
Please call me at 901/454-1800.
The state of california has the worst online access in the usa at the library for out of state people, so don't send me email and expect me to get it while I'm here.
Feel free to email otherwise.
I always prefer email to the pm system.
Does anyone know where I can hear the Hobo Goblins again?
They were incredibly good.
Give me a call.

"Everything is more wonderful when you do it with a car, don't you think?"

It would be a shame if I had to resort to self-deception to preserve my faith in objective reality.

Apparently everyone in the bay area is asleep.
I found the Hobogoblins playing on the 15th.
Can't wait.
I got to visit Fishy.
She looks great, considering.
Good to see her.
Next year on the playa!

Hey Gyre,
Enjoy the Bay. Wish I was there too.
Get a chance stop by Haight Ashbury district. BC took me and my friend there in 2006. He turned us on to a great trippy place that has a plethera of beers. I am not a beer drinker mind you. However, I remember the coolest art on the walls, the coolest vibes, and a very sexy brunette beer wench.
If you make it down there, have a glass of merlot for me. See you soon. Thanks for being a cool cat and a great listener. Peace and Love, Lorgasm

BOOBIES!!!
Thanks.StevenGoodman wrote:Death Guild every Monday night at The Glas Kat. No idea what kind of music/crowd you like.gyre wrote:Thanks.
Anything more burnie?
Fire Jam on Sunday evening at NIMBY.
I fly out on the 17th.
I would like to see the Death Guild in their natural environment.
I do want to see NIMBY and any other shops like that.
I have only made it to the Shipyard and a brief visit to Michael Christian's place.
It is a tremendous thrill to me to see the work being done in these places.
And thanks for the old Fish art car, which was the first burning man art car I ever saw.
It will always hold a special place in my heart.
My first burn started when the Fish puttered into the motel parking lot in reno.
As it turned the corner, the tailfin slowly wagged.
That's when I knew I was finally going to make it out there.
I, too, have no idea what kind of music/crowd I like until I get there.
