FOUND: Unusual Silver Ring

Post by Bambi of Finland » Sun Sep 09, 2007 8:52 pm

Very unusual in design, looks possibly hand wrought. If you can accurately describe this ring, maybe post a pic. I will return it to you. I will only tell you that it was found about twenty feet to the right of the road out to The Man, from center camp on wed. morn.

RING!

Post by Bambi of Finland » Thu Sep 13, 2007 3:05 pm

I am loving this ring as much, if not more, than the person who lost it. I will love it until the original owner can describe this ring to me. It is very distinctive looking, so post a pic or send me a description. If you end up being the owner, I will make sure you get this ring back.

It would be wonderful for this young lady if her lost ring was your found ring.

"I lost the ring my grandfather and grandmother gave me on the Playa. My grandmother is a paraplegic and my grandfather has his leg aputated due to gangreen yesterday... This is true. It was a very hard way to come back from Burning Man to hear such news, my family lives in Australia and I live here so I feel very alone and helpless right now... The loss (I do not believe that someone would have stolen it... niave I know...) right now is almost too much to bear... so please if you hear of anyone that found a silver square ring, with 6 rubies (for the member and blood of my family) and diamontes (in the shape of the Southern Cross - my country) - I would be more than willing to give a reward and other gifts of kindness. Please. please any help would mean so much right now. I have attached a photo.
Blessings.

Post by splatkat » Fri Sep 14, 2007 11:04 am

Hi Bambi - I am soooo hoping that the rinng you have might be mine - it is very heavy had a wide band - square top - 6 red stones for the blood and members of my family - they are shaped arrow like and diamontes in the shape of the southern cross - My grandpa is really sick... and it would mean so much to me to get it back.
Blessings,
Kat

Thanks to everyone who posted or read this post. I have found the owner of the ring. She was able to post a pic. After a brief side trip to West Hollywood, this ring is going back to its owner in Portland. It just plain feels good!
I hope there are some other success stories out there, and Good Luck to everyone!
