Room for passengers & stuff for 2004

If you need a ride for 2004 for you and your stuff...I plan to leave from the Palm Springs area around 3 a.m. on Sat. Aug 28 via route 10 West to the 5 North etc. I do not plan on leaving the playa until LATE on Monday Sept 6th. If your schedule can accomodate my departure dates, and you can be picked up along my route, and you need a ride --- I have room.

Are you aware that the 395 route is a whole shitload shorter than
the 5/80 route?

Agreed, however I find that driving my loaded down aircooled VW bus the 5/80 route to be a little bit faster, but since my brother has moved to the Carson City area, I have returned to the 395, but damn, it's slow going up those hills. The 5 is pretty flat (except the grapevine) and the 80 is steep but it's not steep for long.

There's a much flatter route than just taking 395 straight through. I did it
this year with a loaded trailer and never had to struggle up hills. Total
time LA to BRC: 11 hours (that's with a nap in Bishop).

I just need to follow someone up, its my 2nd year and i am driving there alone and this will be my first big driving trip and i am not exactly 18 yet either and getting lost wouldnt be fun lol
