hit up the tool rental area in the good ol' home despot. the equipment is changed out and replaced occaisonaly, so you might find a good deal on an assortment of scaffolding pieces (sometimes a set) that has been a rental but the only drawback is the paint splatters.. also.. while your there at your warehouse store of choice, take a look at that metal racking/shelving. handy stuff, strong as blazes and easy to work with. it occiasonaly turns in big stacks at metal salvage concerns and recyclers (or there is a heap of it behind the store, but some people get so fussy when you steal equipment like that..)
