Here's the Deal, The Queer Nation can have Yellow, Pink and Purple...The Straights get Blue and Red and Green....

Orange is Bi....

take back the rainbow, stop being monotone! Straight does NOT have to mean Grey or Khaki ANYMORE!

I never gave up my rainbow! I used to drive this old volvo station wagon with a huge rainbow screen over the back, my friends would always tell me to take it out...cause it meant your gay!

No one can take the rainbow from you. If one group starts to use it and you back away from using it, what's that say about you? Now I would shy away from a swastika or white hood, but I don't fear the rainbow. I'd be proud to be associated with what it means, which BTW is typically "gay friendly".

I'm gay, and you can have the damn rainbow. Personally I can't stand the damn thing- I keep thinking of unicorns & fluffy cartoon clouds when I see it.

Ok here's my story (One time at band camp)

My best friend (we'll call him "Ish") loves rainbows, his apartment is full of them. I call him on it all the time but he just laughs it off (no he's not gay he has a sex freak, wacko, midget for a girlfriend). So anyhoo, three years ago we stop at Walmart for supplies, He finds and adapts a sunshade thingy, made out of (2) two 1" white PVC pipe that arcs over for the plywood platform bolted to the roof of his MPV Van, and of course the slip over cotton shade piece, has a Rainbow pattern (to which I protested of course but to no avail, it is his car). Not to mention we have these rainbow colored 15" tall Mushroom made from spray foam out in front of our camp. We go the whole week of Burningman without one woman coming into our camp. The last day we get into a conversation about the Rainbow thing in our camp and we go at each other about it's meaning. It's night time and in the middle of the conversation two guys walk up to us and ask us in "Hey you know where the "Fungi's" are?" Trying to remain calm I say "There ain't no damn "Fun Guys" here. Try up on the Esplanade. You may find some "Fun Guys" there." Turning back to Ish I scream "SEE SEE I told you! Take those damn rainbows Down now" . So the next morning as we are packing to leave the flood starts. Our camp is unidated with women, and I mean packed up until close the doors of the van. And even then we left some girl who said she would just wait on her boyfriend there and waved good bye as we drove off.

Bottomline never put fake mushrooms in front of your camp unless you want to field drug request all night.
