Movie screen material - spandex?

Many camps show movies with the projector BEHIND the screen. The most common screen material seemed to be some sort of spandex -- which stayed smooth and let the light thru quite nicely. What is that material, and where can I buy it?

Yes, thank you. One poster there said that white nylon curtain sheer material works well for rear projection. I'll check with a local fabric store.

I have also found one source of a spandex rear projection screen on eBay. But it comes from Canada, so there is no way it would be here in six days.

Other suggestions?

All right, I did a little testing. My trusty old white bed sheet works fine. The sheer curtain material works fine also - maybe a little brighter, which make sense, as it is thinner.

The advantage of spandex would be that you can super-easily pull all the wrinkles out of it.

I'm all set for now.

It would also bow in and out a bit when wind hits it, which could be good or bad depending on what you're going for.
