And the kinda things your askin about around town, I think ya need a different kinda camp to make you happy. Really there was something like
600+ registered theme camps last year...keep looking ...you'll find your groove.
well, i've been doing some research since i last posted here, which made me realize where the whole money thing comes from *facepalm* duh!
and maybe you're right about the theme camp thing - i'm still trying to figure out what the whole burning man thing is all about. i got the survival part down - i've been camping since i was about 8ish, so making the up-step to desert makes alot of sense, and i have a tendency to overprepare.
it's the other side of BM that i'm worried about. yanno, the having-fun part. as far as living in-camp, i probably would rather be a bit more float-y. i've met some nice hitchhiker-types that have a loose, circle-the-wagons-type camp, rather than an organized, theme camp. that's what i'm looking for. a collection of people to associate with at home base.
that's not to say that i don't want to learn how to bartend. i would love to support the bar in some way without actually living in-camp. the cause is awesome, you people seem neato, and frankly, i love boobs.

Something the BMORG is totally unprepared for, what with their complete lack of wishplows, wishblowers, or even wishshovels. Hell, they don't even require the art cars to chain up at night (when most of the wishes come out).
