Yesderday i found some leftover 'propel' powder that i had taken out to the playa with me. when i mixed it in my water i felt like i was back in the middle of the black rock desert! it was great.

that and vanilla flavored chapstick are two things that always make me think of the playa.

So what type of things make you think of good ole BRC?

dressing up for halloween only to have a small girl ask me "what are you dressed up as?" to which I reply "I don't know, I"m just dressed up!" which really means "I spent so much time sewing this dang costume I am going to wear it, and I don't care if my boobs are totally flying out the top of it, deal with it, because this is what I'm wearing yo!"

discovering that if you wear a shirt under the vesty bustier boob squoosher thingy you made you can actually squoosh them up even higher - who knew?

seeing someone wearing a pumpkin for shorts and thinking they were super sexy - and they actually were!

going out dancing to Goddess Alchemy Project who will now and forever always remind me of the acavallo dust storm critical tits show - woot!

It's quite simple actually. Place plastic jar of vaseline underneath 75 pounds of burning man gear. Add playa tent-sauna for 8 days. Presto, a perfectly exploded jar of vaseline. Give it a try some time; it's loads of fun.

And, yes, it will work oneeyed.

For the first month after bm, the hacking so hard I nearly vomited cough I had reminded me of the playa dust. Now a month after I succumbed to antibiotics (whoa, I was sick! It wasn't just playa lung!) I have a poloroid that a nice girl snapped of Ranger Genius and I drinking with some pirates. I keep it in my car, and I look at it almost daily. I need to scan it!

Sadly my backpack is in someones storage room in UT, so I can't dig into my silly schwag and gifted lip glosses for memory sake.

ahaha....i mean....that sucks....

Someone stole my good running shoes this weekend (asshole) so yesterday i had to wear my old shoes that i took to burning man. Every step i took there was a little explosion of playa dust. The best part was that when i got home and took them off, my feet were coated in it, it's like i was just shuffling through the dust!

I know that vaseline sucks. I had a little tube of carmex in my pocket wth my camera. It melted and filled my camera - Somehow it actually got inside the lens, so its pretty well buggered.

We've tried to clean off Bucky, but every time we touch his bones, we have playa on our hands. Since he sits in the front room, touching Bucky is a near daily occurrence.

haha...my whole studio is PLAYA dust....
and I still cant get shit put away cause ITS all covered with playa dust...so I will just work with the playa dust till I get back to the playa dust.
Maybe a should make some playa dusters, and funny, a bin of material that didnt even go to the playa, is full of playa dust?...

It multiplies when your not looking!

Man I brought Bloody Mary mix just for the hangover cure effect of it. However, when I made Bloody Mary's on the playa they tasted like shit and I could barely bring myself to drink one of them. I don't know why, maybe playa dust ruined my taste buds...

I could run a list of many things, But I much prefer my dreams as I'm wisked away to a wonderful place out in the open desert, after everyone is gone to ride my dust devil rider.. hard to explain (it's from my dream)..

Playa dreams can almost be hauntings of The Universe, The Body, The Seven Ages, The Wheel of Time, The Future, & what was this year..lol..
omg the list goes on for 8 yrs for me.. but I see all you people I miss through out the year in my dreams & glad too (I squeeze you tight & ya don't even know it) well maybe now you do..

But I embrace the Desert, and always glad to share it w/ all of you in my dreams!!
