Thank you, Eplaya!
I was driving home after a fantastic burner party tonight and thinking about how I was introduced to this wacked out bunch of wonderful people. Yes, way back when people had told me about Burning Man, but then I went online and found you all here and the more I read and interacted the more I felt at home.
Thank you to the moderators, the sysops, and to you, dear participant, for giving me an online community experience that I look forward to every day.
Fondly,
-Mister Jellyfish

Yup not really enemies just some people we might have a disagreement with,.. It really is what I appreciate most about E-playa and Burning Man in general , a chance to get to know people from every walk of life, political views, and economic situation from all over the US and the world.
Thank you E-Playa
Thank you E-Playa
Thank you Eplaya,
For making it possible for Mr. right-on, walk through my front door.
For bringing me a fellowship of friends that I concider family, but better, cause family can be really wierd at times.
For tapping back into a inspirational brain I thought was to dusty to use anymore....and then making it morph into something...hehehe, thats just not right!hehhee
For letting me get to know people that live 100's if not 1000's of miles from me.
...and most importantly getting me ready for my first year 06' and reveiling the true burner I always was!
forever, Pinemom

Yes !!!
Thank you eplaya !!
Never before have I found so many threads that were
easily turned into dick jokes, and to top it off, having
everyone else join in instead of shutting me down or
calling me immature or being snippy about my comments.
Thanks !!!

Yep I gotta say the same.
I met some pretty cool people from this board.
still have more to meet.
The web team has been outstanding this year also. cant remember any crashes this year.
This has most definitely been the best eplaya year ever.
Top of the hat to everyone.
And darn Jelly beat me to the punch.

no way dude, next year was waaay better ;)
thank you to eplaya for giving me a window into strange new worlds, wasting amazing amounts of time I should be spending working, introducing me to lots of new wierd people I like, but mostly for the realization after the fact that these conversations are not just with the people you are seeing, but with a huge number of people who never post here, but read the posts, and then later quote you back to you on playa and blow your tiny little mind from the discovery that some people read this thing like the daily paper, and you never know they are there. but they are. and they are funny as hell, and cute and nice and silly, and we don't get to know any of that on here, but trust me, they are. so hi all you invisible people!!!

That's how it was for me until I discovered regionals and the local burner community. Now they're they're way more valuable to me than the big burn.Captain Goddammit wrote:For most of us, Burning Man only exists here on eplaya the whole rest of the year. That makes it pretty important!
p.s. Do they have regionals in the Seattle area? Portland?
It's what you make it.

I also want to voice my thanks to this great group of folks! It's amazing what comfort this connection can provide when the playa seems so damn far away! Thank you all!
A plan is what you vary from.
Destiny Lounge 3D will be at Bradbury and 3:15 this year as a part of the 404: Village Not Found group of camps! Come see us!
